![]() Especially the slow songs, like Weight, Tape, Fabric, Tonya, etc. I don’t enjoy iridescence nearly as much as the trilogy, but I generally think the second half is done pretty well. A huge part of it seems to be Kevin’s lackluster/low-energy verses and this is coming from someone who loves Arizona Baby (and I don’t even know why I love it so much). Joba admittedly does well on the songs and I do kinda enjoy the rough Merlyn verse, but that’s only for a part of it. But then look at Love Me for Life and Big Boy, which just feel kinda boring for a lot of the song. Ginger reminds me of Swim and Hottie which I both like a lot. Dearly Departed, I love because of all the personal verses especially Dom. I love their slower songs, but I can’t help but feel they’re just not as good as their older slow songs. ![]()
